No. 12 Huskies Face Off Against Brown Tuesday

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team is set for Brown at home Tuesday, Jan. 9.
The Huskies are ranked No. 12 in the USCHO national poll with an overall record of 11-6-2 and 9-3-1 in conference play. UConn is second in the conference. Last time out, UConn fell to No. 2 Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn., in both games last weekend. From the weekend sophomore forward Megan Woodworth stood out for the Huskies as Woodworth nailed her first two goals of the season and the lone goal in last Saturday's competition. Leading the way for the Huskies this season has been senior forward Jada Habisch with 16 points including 11 goals scored and five assists.
Scouting Brown
Entering the matchup for the Bears, Brown stands at 8-9-1 overall and 4-7-1 in ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) play. Last time out, Brown swept the two game home series against RIT in Providence, R.I., last weekend. Leading the way for the Bears this season are forwards India McDadi and Jade Iginla with 31 combined points including 16 combined goals and 15 assists.
UConn faced Brown last time on Dec. 31, 2022, and took the 3-0 victory. UConn's record against Brown is 10-4-3.
