STORRS, Conn.- Sophomore pentathlete Maresa Hense has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas, held next weekend (March 13th-14th). Hense qualified for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and earned second-team all-America honors, finishing 15th in the pentathlon with 5,608 points. Hense is UConn's first women's track and field athlete to qualify for the indoor championships since Susan Aneno and Divine Oladipo both did in 2019.
