Huskies Entertain Bryant on Tuesday Night

STORRS, Conn. – Playing under the bright lights of the Sherman Family Complex for the first time this season, UConn women's lacrosse prepares for an inter conference clash against the Bryant Bulldogs on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

Opponent and Series History…
- Tuesday's tilt will be the first ever matchup between UConn and Bryant.
- The Bulldogs (4-3) enter the week after an 18-13 triumph over Canisius last Wednesday.
- Jess Demeo leads Bryant with 20 goals, while Caitlin Breglia paces the Bulldogs in assists (15) and overall points (29). Defensively, Giana Kapoosuzian minds the net with 73 saves, a .468 save percentage and a 14.84 goals-against average in six games.
Last Time Out…
Junior Olivia Miles had four goals but UConn women's lacrosse (1-8) fell, 17-9, to Delaware in the first ever meeting between the two teams at the Mark R. Shenkman Training Center on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Caitlin Leary and freshman Lia LaPrise each added a pair of goals, senior Dani Dunn found the back of the net once, and junior goalkeeper Grace Beshlian made 5 saves for the Huskies. LaPrise also finished the afternoon with a team-high four assists.

Katie Woods enters her 9th season at the helm of the UConn Lacrosse program in 2019. The most successful coach in UConn women's lacrosse history, Woods has accumulated a 107-96 record, six winning seasons and two conference Coach of the Year Awards during her time in Storrs.
