Grayson Named to Penn State Invitational All-Tournament Team

STORRS, Conn. - Freshman middle blocker Courtney Grayson was named to the Penn State Invitational All-Tournament Team following a standout weekend for the Huskies.
Grayson made an immediate impact throughout UConn's three-match weekend, totaling 23 kills, 27 points and eight block assists while hitting .526 on 23 kills in 38 attempts.
The freshman opened the weekend with a dominant performance against High Point, recording 12 kills on 17 attempts for a .647 hitting percentage while adding four block assists. Against Penn State, Grayson contributed six kills and two block assists before closing out the weekend against Hofstra with five kills and two digs.
Grayson averaged 2.09 kills per set across the three matches and currently ranks first in the BIG EAST in hitting percentage at .526.
