Hear from the Huskies:
Junior Outside Hitter Grace Maria:
On the game's intensity:
"It was such a team effort. We felt like we could swing away and go for it because we had each other's back."
On the defensive effort in the fourth set:
"We had to focus on what systems we were in. Once we locked in as a team on which defense we were in, everything went smoothly, and we could run our offensive systems."
Head Coach Ellen Herman-Kimball:
On starting the season 6-0
"It's really earned. We are excited for every moment we get to do it and to see the team's growth."
On the fourth set comeback
"We were able to stick to what we know. There's no time or space to change or do something miraculously different. It's about doing what we do all the time in training and trusting what we do. A couple of things fell our way, and the momentum shifted. It was exciting to be a part of."
