Huskies Shutout CCSU, Remain Unbeaten This Season

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team secured a 1-0 victory over the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Thursday night at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. UConn improves to 3-0-2 this season.
Redshirt-sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Durham earned his third clean sheet this season, making five saves in the win.
Senior forward Austin Brummett scored the game's lone goal in the 7th minute, his third tally, and second game-winning goal this season, giving UConn the lead for good. Brummett finished with a team high three shots on goal.
Shots favored UConn at the half, 10-6, with the Huskies dominating much of the possession in the first 45 minutes.
UConn continued to knock at the door for more in the second half, recording three shots on goal. Central pushed for an equalizer, forcing Durham to make two saves in the second half.
