The top four teams will secure spots in the 2026 BIG EAST Tournament, consisting of the two division champions and the next two teams with the highest point totals. FULL STANDINGS
Coming into Friday's matchup, the Huskies have won three of their last four contests, all against BIG EAST opponents. During that stretch, UConn has recorded two clean sheets while scoring multiple goals in three of the four matches. A Look at Georgetown
The Georgetown Hoyas enter the regular season finale riding a ten-game winning streak. Georgetown's lone loss this season came in early September against Maryland. Head coach Brian Wiese enters his 21st season on the Hilltop. The Hoyas lead the country in scoring offense, averaging 3.25 goals per game. They return key starters Tate Lampman and Mitchell Baker from last year's roster. Lampman was named the preseason BIG EAST Defender of the Year, while Baker earned preseason Offensive Player of the Year honors. Matthew Van Horn and Baker lead the Hoyas attack this season, with 11 goals apiece.
Series History
The Huskies and Hoyas met in last season's BIG EAST Championship game, where Georgetown captured its second consecutive conference title. Georgetown won both meetings last season, outscoring UConn 7-2 over the two matchups. The Hoyas have won nine consecutive meetings against the Huskies dating back to the 2019 season. Georgetown leads the all-time series, 19-14-4.
