STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (2-0-2) is set to host the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils (0-1) on Thursday, September 4 at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm and will be available to stream on UConn+ and on the WWAX in Connecticut. TICKETS
The Huskies are coming off a 5-1 victory over Manhattan on Sunday, the second most goals they have scored in a match under fourth year head coach Chris Gbandi. UConn showed their depth on Sunday totaling five different goal scorers on the night with three coming off the bench and scoring in the second half. Redshirt-sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Durham made a career high seven saves in the win over Manhattan, earning a spot on the BIG EAST weekly honor roll for the first time in his career. Durham currently ranks atop the conference in saves per game (5.00).
A Look at Central Connecticut
The Central Connecticut State Blue Devils opened their season with a 1-0 loss at Albany last Thursday. The Blue Devils are coached by David Kelly entering his fifth season. Central was picked to finish tenth in the NEC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

These two programs last met in 2024, the Huskies beat the Blue Devils, 2-1 in New Britain. UConn owns a 2-0 record all-time against Central.
