The UConn Huskies ship up to Boston for the second-straight postseason to face the Army West Point Black Knights in the 2025 Wasabi Fenway Bowl Saturday afternoon on ESPN. This is UConn's ninth bowl appearance, and the Huskies are 4-4 all-time in bowl games. The Huskies got their first bowl win since 2010 with last year's 27-14 win over North Carolina in the Fenway Bowl.
This will be the Huskies third appearance at Fenway Park. UConn also faced Boston College at the historic ballpark in 2017 (L, 39-16). UConn and Army have met at one other MLB Stadium, a 2014 match-up at Yankee Stadium that saw the Black Knights post a 35-21 win.
The Huskies are in search of their 10th win to close out the 2025 season. UConn posted a 9-3 record to earn bowl eligibility for the second-straight season and third time in the last four years. UConn has nine wins in back-to-back seasons for the first tme in program history and their 18 combined wins is the most in consecutive seasons in their history as well. A 10th win would mark just the second double digit win in school history (1998) and a 9+ win season has happened just five times (10 - 1998, 9 - 2025, 2024, 2007, 2003).
Only OT Losses... Heading into bowl season, only two teams in the country have not lost in regulation this season, UConn and top-ranked Indiana. The Huskies have not lost in regulation since November 23, 2024. Every other FBS team has had at least one regulation loss since then.

Quarterback Joe Fagnano finished the season with 3,448 yards passing while wide receiver Skyler Bell had 1,278 yards receiving and running back Cam Edwards rushed for 1,132 yards. UConn is one of five teams in the nation to have a 3,000 yard thrower, a 1,000 yard rusher and 1,000 yard receiver (UConn, Ohio State, Rutgers, North Texas, Texas State).
Mistake Free Football... UConn finished the regular season with just two total turnovers (1 fumble, 1 INT),the best mark in the country. On the flip side, the Huskies created 16 turnovers on the season and ranked fourth in the NCAA in turnover margin (1.17).
