UConn Set to Face Navy

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team is set to face Navy for the second match in Orlando, Fla. At USTA National Campus on Monday.

Entering the matchup, UConn now stands at 7-3 overall and 1-1 in Big East action. Last Friday, UConn fell to Big East opponent, Creighton by a score of 5-2.

Last time out, the Huskies fought back in singles play after dropping the doubles point. Olivia Wright and Cameron Didion found success at first and fifth singles as they both won in straight sets. Maria Constantinou also battled tough in a third set but fell short 6-3 in the final set. Creighton then took the next four singles points to round out the day.

Scouting the Midshipmen

Heading into the matchup, Navy is 9-4 overall this season. Last match, the Midshipmen lost 6-1 to Delaware. This is Navy's first match in Orlando, Fla. Highlighting the season is Sia Chaudry as she is 4-0 at second singles and posts a 17-8 singles record.

First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET
