STORRS, Conn. - Matchups for the ITA Masters have been announced by the ITA committee. Ela Platenikova and Chloe Lomans will face off against Mya Byrd and Uladzislava from Old Dominion. The match is set to begin Nov. 5 at 4pm.
The 2026 ITA Conference Masters Championship will have a draw size of 32 singles players and 32 doubles teams. From this, four players (4) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (semifinalists). Meanwhile, two doubles teams (3) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the Conference Masters (champion & finalist). Each NCAA AQ-eligible, Division I conference will designate one singles player and one doubles team from each gender to participate in the event.
The BIG EAST representatives were selected via a nomination and balloting process where the head coaches could not vote for their own athletes. A small subcommittee of non-involved head coaches certified the votes and ranked any alternate selections as necessary.
