Huskies travel to Pennsylvania for Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, PA – The University of Connecticut women's swimming and diving team returns to the pool Friday as they travel to Lewisburg Pennsylvania and Bucknell University for the Bucknell Invitational. The three-day meet is set to start Friday November 19 at 10am and finish Sunday November 21.
The upcoming invitational for the Huskies will be their first true road test of the season as all 5 of their meets thus far have been at home. The Huskies enter the weekend with a 3-2 record, with their last meet being a loss to Yale University.
UConn and Bucknell have a small history, facing off against each other twice. UConn has come away with a victory in both matchups, their most recent meet being in 2012 with UConn winning 173.5 – 126.5.
UP Next
Following the invitational, the Huskies will return home for the Holidays. They return to the pool December 4 when they take on in state foe Southern Connecticut State University. The meet is set to start at 1:00 p.m. at Wolff-Zackin Natatorium in Storrs.
