Noah Solomon is in his second year of coaching with the UConn rowing program as a Graduate Assistant. He graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. in 2014.
Solomon started his rowing career at St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H. He rowed there for 3 years and developed a real passion for the sport.
At Wesleyan, Solomon was a member of the Cardinals varsity rowing team for four years. As a captain his senior year, he helped lead the team to a medal at The Head of the Charles in the Collegiate 8 event.
Over the past two years, he has been working at The Gunnery, an independent boarding school in Washington, Conn. There, he taught psychology, served as head of a junior boys’ dorm, and coached on both the girls and boys sides of the rowing program. Last year, his JV girls' boat earned a medal at the Founder's Day Regatta.
Solomon is currently in the UConn Master’s program for Sports Management.
