Directions to UConn's Coventry Lake
Directions to UConn Boathouse on Coventry Lake:
For GPS: Patriot’s Park, 124 Lake Street, Coventry, CT
From I-84 West:
- Exit 67
- Turn Left onto CT-31 South, take to end
- Turn left onto US-44 East
- After approximately 1 mile, turn right at traffic light back onto CT-31 South/Main Street
- Stay on CT-31 for approximately 4 miles
- At the blinking light, turn right onto Lake Street
- At the top of the hill (after Nathan Hale Cemetery) is the entrance to the Community Center. Parking is available at the next right (Patriot’s Park).
From I-84 East:
- Exit 67
- Turn right onto CT-31 South, take to end
- Follow directions above to boathouse
From I-91:
- I-84 East to I-384 East
- Travel on I-384 East for 7.5 miles
- Continue straight onto US-44 East
- Keep left at the fork to continue on US-44 East, follow signs for Coventry/Mansfield
- Stay on US-44 East for approximately 4 miles
- Turn Right onto CT-31 South/Main St (CT-31 North will come first on your left, don’t turn left)
- Follow directions above to boathouse
From Campus (Greer Field House):
- Head southeast on Hillside Road (toward UConn Bookstore)
- Turn right onto Hillside Circle
- Take the first right to stay on Hillside Circle
- Continue onto Westwood Road
- Turn right onto CT-275 West/South Eagleville Road
- Continue straight through the stop light at the intersection of CT-31 and CT-275
- Continue under the one lane tunnel (12 foot height clearance)
- At the blinking light, continue straight onto Lake Street
- At the top of the hill (after Nathan Hale Cemetery) is the entrance to the Community Center. Parking is available at the next right (Patriot’s Park).
Trailers:
Just as you reach the top of the hill, you have to make a sharp right into the Community Center. You’ll have to get into the left lane to make this turn. Then, follow the road down straight down to the boathouse. Please do not park on the grass.
