Audrey Kelley, a 2016 UConn graduate and former team captain, joined head coach Gordon Getsinger's coaching staff in August of 2026. She previously served on the coaching staff of long-time head coach Jennifer Sanford for four seasons.
Kelley previously served as the recruiting coordinator along with assuming assistant coach responsibilities. Kelley helped lead the Huskies to the program’s best finish at the CAA Championships in 2026, placing second overall while recording runner-up finishes in all three races. She has also coached the Third Varsity 8 to a second-place finish in the Knecht Cup in 2025 and a third-place finish in 2024. Across four seasons, Kelley coached 11 student-athletes to All-CAA honors.
Kelley returned to UConn following a four-year stint as a coach and recruiting coordinator for the University of Delaware rowing team from 2018 to 2022. She helped the Blue Hens to two top four finishes at the CAA Championships while coaching five student-athletes to All-CAA honors.
From 2012 through 2016, Kelley was a UConn rower – eventually becoming team captain, while also serving on UConn Husky Reach. She graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, focusing on Human Development and Family Studies.
In the years prior to her stint at the University of Delaware, Kelley served as a coach for the Middlebury College men and women's crew teams. Kelley serves as Recruiting Coordinator for the Huskies. Her 2024 Third Varsity Eight placed third at the Knecht Cup. Her 2025 Third Varsity Eight placed second at the Knecht Cup and third at the Coastal Athletic Association Championship.
