2015: Saw action in all 23 matches and earned six starts…recorded the assist on Rachel Hill’s game-winning goal against Notre Dame in the second round of the NCAA tournament (Nov. 20)…scored her second goal of the season and third of her career in the American Athletic Conference quarterfinals against Cincinnati (Nov. 5)…assisted Sam McGuire’s goal against SMU on her senior day (Oct. 25)…earned the assist on Andrea Plucenik’s game-tying goal against Tulsa (Oct. 18)…tallied the assist on Stephanie Ribeiro’s game-winning goal on the road at Brown (Sept. 20)…scored her first goal of the season against Army (Sept. 11)…assisted Rachel Hill’s second goal against Colgate in the team’s home opener (Aug. 21).
2014: Played in 20 games, making eight starts...finished with a goal and three assists to total five points...notched an assist in a win over Navy (Aug. 24)...recorded three points with her first-career goal and an assist vs. St. John's (Sept. 12)...tallied a season-high five shots vs. Brown (Sept. 21)...picked up an assist vs. Tulsa (Oct. 5).
2013: Saw action in all 20 games, starting 11... tallied 12 shots including seven on goal... Recipient of Defensive Player of the Week by the American Athletic Conference on Sept. 21...Reprised her role on the Trinidad & Tobago National Team with the U-20 squad at the 2014 CONCACAF Championship in the Cayman Islands... Hinds helped the Soca Princesses advance to the program's first semifinal game, where the squad fell to eventual champion USA.
2012: Saw action is 14 games her freshman campaign and took a total of nine shots in her 360 minutes.
Before UConn: Hinds comes to Storrs after earning All-State her junior and senior years, along with All-New England her senior campaign... The 5-6 forward was a captain her senior year and the team's most valuable player... Her freshman and sophomore years, Hinds played for the Trinidad National Team as she scored goals against Chile and Nigeria during the 2010 U-17 Women's World Cup.
Personal: Liana Kayla-Marie is the daughter of Lennus and Debra Williams...A molecular and cell biology major.
