Freshman: 3 individual event wins in the 200 back against SCSU… 100 back against Bryant and BU… 200 back against Dartmouth College…4 personal best times at ECAC Championships…Finished 2nd as part of the 400 medley relay team… 4th in the 400 IM…4th in 100 back…2nd in 200 back.
Sophomore: Team captain…Finished 2nd in 100 back at Big East Championships…5th place finish in 200 back at BE Champs…9th in 400 IM at BE Champs.
Before UConn: Swam for Crimson Aquatics club team in high school for head coach Peter Zieger. Three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American (2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019). Was a Speedo Winter Junior National Qualifier. Recognized as a New England Top Ten Swimmer. Grabbed first place in 100 Butterfly at 2019 New England Age Group Championships. Took second place in the 200 Back at 2019 EZ North Speedo Short Course Sectionals. Captured a second place finish at 2018 New England Senior Championships.
Personal: Daughter of Don and Karen Spencer…Has two brothers, Troy and Colin…Actuarial Science/Finance major.
