It was also a day to remember for freshman diver Ruth Spiegel, who contributed mightly for the Huskies, picking up her first career win.
"It's super exciting," said Speigel, "There's been a lot since I got here about trusting the process and leaning into going back to the basics and I feel like today really culminated into showing on the big stage."
The Huskies now have won 2 in a row, with their sights now set on the Iowa Invitational, which is set for November 18th in Iowa City.
"We're in a good spot," said head coach Chris Maiello on the team's momentum heading to Iowa. "We're excited looking forward to our mid-season championship in Iowa and they'll be better than they were here in two weeks."
