Bobby Segin is in his second season working on Head Coach Mike Cavanaugh's staff as a student assistant coach. Segin will continue to work with the coaching staff on scouting reports, breaking down film, and practice planning while also working alongside Assistant Coach Andrew Raycroft working with the Husky goaltenders.
Segin played for the Huskies during his freshman and sophomore years as the team's back-up goaltender.
Prior to playing for UConn, Segin attended The Gunnery. He led his team in the New England Division One Pre-School Hockey League, posting a 20-12-0 record in 2010-11. He finished the year with 568 saves and a .900 save percentage while being named Team MVP.
Segin is in his senior year at UConn and will graduate with a degree in political science.
