MHOC Announces 2026-27 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's hockey team has announced its schedule for the 2026-27 season. The 34-game slate includes 17 home games with 13 at the Toscano Family Ice Forum and four at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, along with a 24-game Hockey East schedule, and the program's annual trip to the CT Ice tournament.
The Huskies open the season at home October 9-10, co-hosting the Icebreaker Tournament against Penn State and Bowling Green. UConn then stays in Storrs to host Colorado College for a two-game set October 16-17 before Hockey East play begins with a home-and-home against Boston University, starting with a Thursday night contest at Toscano Family Ice Forum on October 22 and concluding at Boston University on October 24.The Huskies will conclude October with back-to-back road games at Merrimack (Oct. 30-31), a rematch of the 2025-26 Hockey East Championship game,
November opens with a home-and-home series against Providence College (Nov. 5 away, Nov. 7 home). UConn then welcomes Northeastern to Storrs on Friday, November 13, before the series shifts to PeoplesBank Arena the following night. UConn will host Northeastern all three times this season as a result of Northeastern's ongoing rink renovation. UConn rounds out the month with a home-and-home against New Hampshire (Nov. 19 home, Nov. 21 away) before a trip overseas to Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the Friendship Four, where the Huskies will face Colgate on November 27 before playing again on November 28.
To close out the first half of the season the Huskies head to Ohio State for a two-game set December 11-12.
UConn opens the new year at home against Merrimack on January 2, part of a stretch that includes home-and-home series with UMass Lowell (Jan. 7 away, Jan. 9 at PeoplesBank Arena) and Maine (Jan. 15 home, Jan. 16 at PeoplesBank Arena). Following the matchup vs. Maine the Huskies will turn their attention to their final non-conference matchups of the season as they prepare for the CT Ice tournament, January 29-30.
February begins with a home matchup against Northeastern on February 5, the third and final meeting between the two teams this season, before a home-and-home with Boston College (Feb. 12 away, Feb. 13 home) and a two-game trip on the road to Vermont (Feb. 19-20). The Huskies will close out the month with a home-and-home against Massachusetts, playing at Amherst on February 25 before returning to PeoplesBank Arena for the final time on February 27.
The regular season wraps up in March with a trip to New Hampshire on March 4 and the season finale against Providence College at the Toscano Family Ice Forum on March 6.
