AS A SENIOR (2020): Served as team captian…Started six games for the Huskies…Played 207 minutes…Tallied team high 36 saves and recorded a .456 save percentage…Credited with a 3-2 record…Picked up 11 ground balls.
AS A JUNIOR (2019): Competed in 15 games with 14 starts in net for the Huskies…Racked up 148 saves…14.49 goals-against average and .429 save percentage…Collected 38 ground balls…Forced nine turnovers…Made season-high 22 saves versus Vanderbilt (April 14).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018): Made 16 starts in 17 appearances … collected 121 saves … earned a 13.20 goals against average and a .369 save percentage … second on the team with 37 ground balls … made a season-high 15 saves in a win against Fairfield (Feb. 14) ... forced 10 turnovers … on three occasions collected a season-high four ground balls … allowed less than 10 goals on three different occasions which included a season-best five goals allowed against Butler (Mar. 18) … turned in a 7-8 record.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Started all 16 games in net … racked up 166 saves to rank eighth in UConn history for saves in a single season … her career-high 20 saves at Denver (April 2) are tied for most saves in a single game … second on the team with 38 ground balls … forced five turnovers … posted a 12.90 goals against average … turned in an 8-8 record … recorded one draw control.
Before UConn: Earned three varsity letters for lacrosse at Wantagh High School…served as team captain her junior and senior seasons…earned All-American honors in 2015 and 2016…named Team MVP in 2016…a three-time All-County honoree (2014, 2015 and 2016)…also earned one varsity letter in swimming…a member of the National Honor Society…received Academic All-American honors.
Personal: Grace Anne Beshlian…born May 6, 1998…daughter of Richard and Barbara Beshlian…has two older siblings, Bobby and Jackie…an education major.
