WSOC Hosts LIU on Sunday

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's soccer team (1-1-2) are set to host LIU (0-4) on Sunday, September 6 at 1 p.m. at Morrone Stadium. The game can be seen for FREE on UConn+.
The Huskies are looking to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season at Brown last Thursday, 1-0.
Senior defender Alayna Taylor leads the Huskies with two goals this season while Ines Nourani has contributed a goal and assist. The Huskies will be without Nourani again on Sunday while she competes with the Canadian U-20 National team.
Freshman Lily Onorato has started all four games in net for the Huskies including her first career shutout coming against Rutgers on August 20.
The Sharks are 0-4 on the year and have yielded three goals in three of the four matches they have played this year. LIU has scored two goals in its four matches this year.
