STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (3-4-2) is set to host the Siena Saints (2-4-1) at Ray Reid Field at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium on Tuesday, September 22. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm and can be streamed on UConn+.

UConn is coming off a loss to Seton Hall that snapped a five-game unbeaten streak. The Huskies have recorded at least 13 shots in six consecutive games and are averaging 14.3 shots per game this season, which ranks 44^th nationally. Senior forward Elijah Langford leads the Huskies roster in shots with 22 through nine games.

A Look at Siena

The Siena Saints lost 2-1 at Fairfield their last time out. Siena is coached by Graciano Brito entering his seventh season in Loudonville. The Saints were voted to finish in second place in the Metro Preseason Coaches' Poll. Senior midfielder Lucas Almeida was selected as the Metro Preseason Player of the Year. He led the Saints in goals and points last season. UConn is 1-1 against Metro Conference opponents this season.

Series History

The last meeting between these two programs came in 2024, when the Huskies earned a 2-1 victory. UConn won the first-ever meeting between the two programs in 2023, 3-1, giving the Huskies a 2-0 edge in the all-time series. Both contests were played at Morrone Stadium.
