Huskies hit the Road to kick off 2026-27 Season

STORRS, Conn. —UConn swimming and diving kicks off their 2026-27 season In West Point, New York to compete against Army on September 24th. The meet will kick off at 5:00 pm at Crandall Pool.
Last season, the Huskies finished with a strong 6-1 record, finishing 2nd at the BIG EAST Championships. UConn is returning a strong presence of swimmers and divers, led by captains Kate Cooper, Claire Lippert, and Jessica Sheng.
The Huskies are also bringing in a ton talent to the pool, with 7 new freshmen coming in looking to make an immediate impact. These new faces will be looking to replace the 8 seniors that contributed for the Huskies, highlighted by former captains Norah Rome and Alexis Martino.
UConn will look to get off to a fast start and set the tone for the season, as well as looking to bring their lifetimes record to 10-0 against Army. UConn last matched up against Army on November 2nd, 2019, defeating the Black Knights in Storrs 212-98.
