Huskies Set for Road Games vs. QU and UMass

HAMDEN, Conn. – The UConn field hockey team (4-7, 1-2) is set to travel to Hamden, Conn and Amherst, MA to take on BIG EAST opponent, Quinnipiac University, on Friday afternoon and out-of-conference opponent, UMass, on Sunday afternoon.
The Huskies are coming off a road loss to the Villanova Wildcats in a single-game weekend. Grad student, Belle Bressler, had the only goal for the Huskies in the loss.
The Bobcats (4-5, 2-1) are coming off a 1-1 weekend where they defeated BIG EAST opponent, Georgetown, but fell to Sacred Heart. Quinnipiac beat Providence in their conference opening game, but also lost to Villanova this season.
UMass (7-5) is coming off a 1-1 weekend as well, after falling to VCU in Richmond, VA on Friday, the Minutewomen bounced back to defeat Yale at home on Sunday.
The game on Friday is set for 3:00pm at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium in Hamden, Conn and the game on Sunday is set for 2:00pm at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex in Amherst, MA.
