Dallahan Leads Huskies At Ka'anapali Classic

LAHAINA, Hi. – UConn junior Tommy Dallahan shot two sub-par rounds, including a 5-under 66, to lead the Huskies in scoring for the second consecutive event as UConn finished its fall schedule by completing play Sunday in the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.
Dallahan (Simsbury, Conn.) finished in a tie for 22nd place in the huge 123-player field after shooting an aggregate 5-under, 66-72-70=208, which included his third and fourth rounds of par-or better this season and the fourth sub-70 round of his college career.
Dallahan led UConn to a tie for 13th in the 20-team field in Hawaii. The Huskies shot an aggregate 3-over, 288-285-282=855, improving in each of the three rounds, to tie with Cal State-Northridge for 13th place.
Oklahoma (811) won the team championship, topping Clemson (823) by 12 strokes. Clemson's Andrew Swanson (-18) won the individual title.
Also for UConn, grad student Jared Nelson (Rutland, Vt.) tied for 40th place with a 1-under, 72-71-69=212, upping Nelson's total of par-or-better rounds this season to 11 and his total of sub-70 rounds to nine this season and 17 for his career.
Junior Jimmy Paradise (Tampa, Fla.) shot a 2-over, 75-71-69=215, to finish in a tie for 67th place, sophomore Trevor Lopez (Winchester, Mass.) shot a 10-over, 78-71-74=223, to tie for 104th place, and freshman Colin Spencer (Mashpee, Mass.) was in a tie for 118th place after shooting a 17-over, 75-80-75=230. Sophomore Vikram Konanki (Newton, Mass.), playing as an individual shot a 21-over, 79-76-79=234.
With five events completed, the Huskies have wrapped up the fall portion of their 2022-23 season and will take a three-month hiatus before starting the spring portion of the season on Feb. 6-7 with BIG EAST Match Play at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.
