Huskies Face Wichita State on Semifinal Saturday

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The UConn baseball team takes on Wichita State on Saturday in the American Conference Championship semifinal round beginning at 10 a.m.Â
The Huskies (35-22) are 2-0 in the conference tournament with wins against Houston (4-3) and Wichita State (9-7) and will need to win once on Saturday to advance to Sunday's championship game.Â
If the Shockers beat UConn in the 10 a.m. match up, the two teams will square off again after the first semifinal game between Cincinnati and the winner of UCF/Tulane.Â
UConn is looking to advance to the championship game for the second-straight year and third time in the past four seasons.
The game will be streamed on The American Digital Network and can be heard on 97.9 ESPN Hartford with Mike Crispino or on 91.7 FM WHUS with Chris Jones.
