LaPrise Collects AAC Freshman of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. – Freshman midfielder Lia LaPrise snagged the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week award for April 30, as announced by the conference office this afternoon. LaPrise secured the award after posting a team-high five points (4 goals, 1 assist) in UConn's 17-7 victory over East Carolina in the season finale.

This award caps off an impressive inaugural campaign for the Windsor, Conn. native. LaPrise ended the season second on the Huskies in overall points (37), tallying 20 goals and 17 assists during the 2019 season.
