Men’s Basketball to Host USF, Honor Ray Allen on Sunday

STORRS, Conn. – Beginning its final week of regular season play, the UConn men's basketball team will look to avenge an early season loss when it welcomes the USF Bulls to Gampel Pavilion on Sunday, March 3. The game is scheduled for a noon tipoff and will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.
Additionally, the Huskies will honor Ray Allen - one greatest players to ever don the UConn uniform. At halftime, UConn will permanently retire Ray Allen's No. 34, with CBS Sports Network televising the halftime ceremony.

- UConn leads the all-time series against USF, 20-3. USF took the first matchup season, posting a 76-68 victory in both team's AAC conference opener.

Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
