Mens Basketball Set to Host Cincinnati, Honor 1999 team Sunday Afternoon

STORRS, Conn. – Making its final regular season appearance at the XL Center, the UConn men's basketball team prepares to host the Cincinnati Bearcats Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN.
UConn will honor the 20th anniversary of its 1999 NCAA Championship team with a ceremony at halftime.

Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
