STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's basketball team returns home as it prepares to face the top team in the American Athletic Conference, the nationally-ranked (#9/#9) Houston Cougars, Thursday night. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff and will be televised by ESPN.

Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
