What to Know:
- UConn is 7-4-2 all-time against the Knights. The conference foes met on the pitch twice last season – A 0-0 double overtime draw early in the regular season and a 3-2 (OT) UCF overtime win in the 2018 AAC semifinals.
- The Huskies have scored 17 goals on 21 assists. Senior Jordan Hall leads the way in goals with nine tallies, while classmate Dayonn Harris is the team leader in assists (9).
- UCF enters Sunday's tilt with a 8-1-2 mark. The Knights are coming off a 3-2 win in double overtime against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. UCF posted a 2-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the match but saw Tulsa earn the equalizer with less than five minutes remaining in the second half.
Leading the Pack:
Ray Reid leads the Huskies in his 23rd season as the head coach. A four-time National Coach of the Year and National Champion, Reid boasts the sixth-highest winning percentage among active coaches.
Last Time Out:
The UConn men's soccer team came into Tuesday's match looking to keep the momentum rolling after locking up its first AAC win Saturday night; however, the Orange were the ones to come out on top as they handed the Huskies a 1-0 loss at the SU Soccer Stadium.
