UConn Caps January with Road Test at UCF

STORRS, Conn. – After posting dominating back-to-back home conference wins, the UConn men's basketball team travels to Orlando, Fla. to complete the first of seven home-and-home series, challenging UCF at the CFE Arena. The game is scheduled for a 9 p.m. tipoff and will be televised by ESPNU.

Opponent and Series History…
- UConn leads the all-time series, 11-3. UCF won the first matchup, 65-53, back on Jan. 5.
- UCF (15-4, 5-2) is coming off a 77-57 road loss at Memphis on Sunday, which broke a two-game winning streak.
- The Knights have two double figure scorers in senior B.J. Taylor (16.7) and junior Aubrey Dawkins (15.4). Senior Tacko Fall is the top rebounder (7.1) and shot-blocker (2.8), while junior Terrell Allen leads the team in assists (4.3).

Leading the Pack…
Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
