Huskies to Host Drexel at XL Center

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's basketball team (8-3) will welcome Drexel University to the XL Center for a midweek tilt on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. SNY will be broadcasting the game.

- This will be the first ever meeting between UConn and Drexel on the hardwood.
- Drexel (6-5) enters the game winners of three of its last four games, most recently coming off a 92-83 victory over Quinnipiac on Sunday.

Leading the Pack…
Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.

UConn wraps up its non-conference portion of the schedule on Saturday, Dec. 22 in a neutral site matchup against defending National Champion Villanova at Madison Square Garden. Tipoff is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start and will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
