UConn Continues Non-Conference Slate with Manhattan

STORRS, Conn. – Looking to get back in the win column, the UConn men's basketball team welcomes the Manhattan Jaspers to Gampel Pavilion on Saturday, Dec. 15 for an 8 p.m. contest. The game will be broadcast on SNY and ESPN3.

- In the all-time series between the two schools, UConn holds an 18-14 advantage over the Jaspers. This will be the first meeting between the two institutions in 36 years.
- Manhattan is currently on a four-game losing streak, suffering its last defeat in a 30-point rout against Hofstra on Monday.
- The Jaspers are led in scoring by junior Pauly Paulicap (10.3). Sophomore Ebube Ebube is the top rebounder (6.2) while classmate Nehemiah Mack leads in assists (2.3).

Leading the Pack…
Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
