Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's lacrosse team announced its five game fall schedule Monday. The first game will be played on September 25, where the Huskies will welcome back former members for the Alumni game.
The other four games will take place throughout the course of October including the Connecticut Playday at Fairfield on October 3, the Boston College Playday on October 11, the Diane Whipple College Showcase at Manhasset High School, Long Island on October 17 and the Brown Playday on October 24 to close out the fall schedule.
The five games are in preparation for the team's regular season spring schedule which has yet to be announced. UConn finished 11-7 last season, making it all the way to the Big East Championship where they lost to Florida. The Huskies return all of their top five scorers from last season, including Senior Kate Finkelston (40g, 17a), sophomore Grace Nolan (26g, 20a), senior Carly Palmucci (23g, 16a), junior Jacqueline Jordan (24g, 13a) and senior Alexandra Crofts (20g, 13a).
