No. 19 Lacrosse Hosts Final Two Home Games

STORRS, Conn.- The No. 19 UConn lacrosse team puts its undefeated home record on the line this weekend when the Huskies welcome Marquette (2-12) on Friday at 7 p.m. and No. 6/5 Notre Dame (11-1, 5-1 BE) on Sunday at noon. The Huskies have compiled a stellar 11-1 (4-1 BIG EAST) record and are 5-0 while playing in Storrs.
Entering the weekend, UConn sits in third place in the league with a .800 win percentage, while Notre Dame comes into Storrs with .833 conference win percentage for second place. Marquette is competing as an independent squad in 2013.
Individually, Kahn in second in the BIG EAST in ground balls per game (2.67) and caused turnovers (1.83), while Notre Dame's Barbara Sullivan sits first in each category with 3.25 ground balls and 2.17 caused turnovers per game.
Fans are encouraged to arrive to Sunday's contest early as Connecticut will honor 12 graduating seniors as Kacie Lewis, Dorian Gilmartin-Dzitko, Mackenzie Rainone, Kelsi Tucci, Shannon Kerr, Liz Brown, Morgan O'Reilly, Chelsea Hauswirth, Kaitlyn Aldrich, Brittney Testa, Catherine Gross and Siobhan Wilcox will be honored.
