Fleming Enjoys Success At Canadian Nationals

STORRS, Conn. - University of Connecticut sophomore Kim Fleming (Mississauga, Ont.) recently enjoyed a pair of outstanding performances at the Canadian Age Group National Championships in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Fleming finished sixth in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:05.64 while she had a time of 1:06.51 in the preliminaries.
She was also seventh in the 200-meter backstroke in a time of 2:23.88 while her preliminary time was 2:23.86.
In other women's swimming news, junior Caitlin Gallagher (Lawrence, Kan.) is competing at the US Senior National Championships in Irvine, Calif., from Aug. 3-7 in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke and the 400-yard individual medley.
