Huskies Top Connecticut College On Senior Day

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded the home portion of its season on Saturday as the men took a 158-114 win over Connecticut College while the women beat the Camels by a 169-113 count.
The UConn women's team had another strong showing by its freshmen class as Isabelle Nat (Barrie, Ont.) won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.91 and Katie Dobler (Pittsford, N.Y.) won the 100-yard freestyle in 10:35.72. Kim Fleming (Mississauga, Ont.) won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.17 while Jordan Bowen (Lake Elmo, Minn.) won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.55. Savitri Horrigan (Westport, Conn.) won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:27.25.
On the men's side, freshman Jeremy Ramshaw (Mississauga, Ont.) won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.77 seconds and the 200-yard backstroke in 1:54.05. Freshman Kyungsoo Yoon (Toronto, Ont.) won the 100-yard freestyle in 47.95 seconds and the 200-yard freestyle in 1:43.79.
Both UConn teams return to action next Saturday when they travel to Yale for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
