UConn Rowing Walk-On Meetings Scheduled

STORRS, Conn. (July 21, 2008) -- The University of Connecticut women's rowing team will hold a walk-on information meetings for those interested in trying out for the team on Tuesday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 27. The meetings will be held at 4 p.m. in the Student Union Room 303. General information about the team will be given out at this time in addition to necessary paperwork for try-outs. Try-outs will take place on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3. The fall practice schedule will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and some Saturday mornings.
