Andrew Olson Named To Kendall Classic All-Tournament Team

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (October 14 , 2008) - University of Connecticut men’s hockey sophomore Andrew Olson was named to the Kendall Classic All-Tournament team following his two goal effort against Alaska-Anchorage in UConn’s first game of the Classic.
Olson scored the only goals for the Huskies on the weekend netting both during the first and second period of the game. Olson put the Huskies on top during the first period with a goal during the seventh minute of the game. But Alaska-Anchorage tied and then went ahead during the rest of the first.
Olson came out strong during the second period scoring his second goal of the game just 32 seconds into the start of the period. But Anchorage would later go on to score four unanswered goals giving the Seawolves the 6-2 victory.
Olson recorded his ninth multi-goal game of his career with his two-goal performance.-UCONN-
