UConn Swimming and Diving Announce Assistant Coaches

STORRS, Conn. (September 5, 2006) – Amy McCullough and Kristen Nardozzi have been named assistant coaches for the University of Connecticut swimming and diving program.
Nardozzi comes to UConn after spending two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. At Trinity she received her masters in public policy and law. She obtained her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from New Hampshire where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and six-time America East Conference champion. She also was a coaching intern at New Hampshire in 2004.
McCullough joins UConn after serving a one year Coaching Fellowship for the USA Swimming National Team. She attended Michigan, where she graduated with honors in movement science as well as sport management and communications. She was a four-year varsity letter winner for Michigan. She was a five-time NCAA All-American, six-time Big Ten Champion, and three-time Academic All-American. She was also a member of the USA Swimming National Team in 2003.
