Erickson Named to Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team

WORCESTER, Mass. (March 16, 2006) - Freshman Sean Erickson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) was named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie team at the Tournament Banquet on Thursday night.  Going into the semifinal game of the AHA tournament, Erickson has notched 20 points on five goals and 15 assists for the Huskies.

Erickson and the rest of the Huskies will play in the semifinal game of the tournament on Friday afternoon against Holy Cross.  The game is slated for 4:00 p.m. at the Hart Center on the campus of Holy Cross.  This is the first time that the Huskies have advanced to the semifinal round of the tournament since the league was established.
