UConn Women's Swimming and Diving Defeats Syracuse

STORRS, CT (Jan. 28) - University of Connecticut freshman diver Kailly Thull has been named the Women’s Division I Diver of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference, a conglomeration of most schools in the northeastern United States.
Thull earned the honor after winning both the one meter and three meter diving events to earn 18 points for the Huskies in their 139-102 victory over BIG EAST rival Syracuse on Jan. 24 in Storrs. Thull’s mark of 401.70 in the three meter diving event was comfortably a team high for the season while her 225.29 score in the one meter event was also a winning tally against the Orangewomen.
The Huskies will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 31, when they face West Virginia in Morgantown at 1:00 p.m.
