Novice Boats Compete at Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, CT (NOVEMBER 2) – The University of Connecticut women’s rowing novice squad tool place in the Yale Invitational in New Haven on a chilly Saturday afternoon.
UConn rowed three boats in the novice only race. Boston University placed its two boats in first and second place in times of 16:01.2 and 16:27.8, respectively. Connecticut, which placed its first of three boats in third place, ended in a time of 16:28.5. The second and third crews placed 19th and 20th out of 21 total crews.
Today’s race completed the Fall 2002 season for the UConn rowing team.
