AS A FRESHMAN IN 2022-23: Earned a spot in the Huskies’ regular lineup as a true freshman, competing in seven events on the UConn schedule, plus two more events as an individual… Averaged 76.0 strokes per round for 27 rounds… Had four rounds of par or better, including one sub-70 round, a 67 in the season-opening Gimmler Invitational… Low tourney total was a 212 in Gimmler Invitational… Best finish was a tie for 24th place at the 2022 Hartford Hawks Invitational, followed closely by a tie for 25th at the BIG EAST Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL: Came to UConn after playing for six years at Mashpee (Mass.) Junior-Senior High School under Coach Shawn Chicoine… As a senior, won the 2021 Division 3 individual state championship and led the team to the state tournament finals… Earned Boston Globe All-Scholastic honors… Went undefeated as a senior… As a sophomore, finished as the runner-up in the Division 3 state championship… Was named South Shore League Player of the Year four times.
ADDITIONAL GOLF HIGHLIGHTS: Won the 2021 Massachusetts Junior Amateur championship… Finished second in the 2021 New England Junior Amateur championship… Finished third and first substitute in 36-hole qualification for the U.S. Amateur,
