WHILE AT UCONN: Returned to competition in 2018-19 after missing the previous year because of a shoulder injury… Has appeared in 13 events for UConn, averaging a solid 74.0 per round for 37 rounds, with two low rounds of 69… Has two Top 10 and four Top 20 finishes, with a career-best finish of a tie for sixth place at the 2018 UConn Collegiate Invitational at GreatHorse… Other Top 10 was a tie for ninth at the 2016 Connecticut Cup… Finished in a tie for 5th place at the 2017 Russell C. Palmer Cup at the Country Club of Waterbury… Should be in the mix for a place in UConn’s tournament lineups in 2019-20.
SPRING 2019: Played in two tournaments on UConn’s spring schedule, averaging 73.7 per round for six rounds, with one round of par or better and a top finish of a tie for 17th after shooting a solid 1-over 217, playing as an individual at the Loyola Intercollegiate… other competition was a tie for 41st at the Ft. Lauderdale Intercollegiate with a 9-over 225.
FALL 2018: Played three tournaments on UConn’s fall schedule, averaging 74.0 for eight rounds, two rounds of par or better and a low round of 70… Best finish was a career-best tie for sixth place with a 5-over 221 at the UConn Collegiate Invitational… Also tied for 28th at the 2018 Hartford Hawks Invitational with a 1-over 145, playing as an individual.
SPRING 2018: Injured, did not play.
FALL 2017: Injured, did not play.
SPRING 2017: Played in three tournaments on UConn’s spring schedule, each as an individual player, averaging 75.4 per round for nine rounds, shot two rounds of par or better, with a low round of 69… Best finish was a tie for 11th in the VGA/UConn Collegiate Invitational.
FALL 2016: Played in all five events on UConn’s fall schedule, averaging 73.1 per round for 14 rounds, with four rounds of par or better, and a low round of 69… Best finish was a tie for ninth place at the Connecticut Cup at Ellington Ridge CC after shooting a 6-over 222.
HIGH SCHOOL: Came to UConn after two years at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Fla., under Coach Toby Harbeck… As a senior, named team captain and led the team in scoring average… Team qualified for state championship play in both years… Prior to that, he attended The Pine School in Hobe Sound, Fla., where he helped lead the team to the first state championship appearance in school history and was named First Team All-County… As a freshman, attended Holy Cross High School in Waterbury (Conn.), where he helped the team win the Division III State Championship for the first time in 17 years and was named All-State.
ADDITIONAL GOLF HIGHLIGHTS: Finished in a tie for 16th place at the 2017 New England Amateur Championship in East Providence, R.I…. Two-time International Junior Orange Bowl Qualifier medalist… Four career AJGA Top 10 finishes… June, 2016: won Ryan Lee Memorial Junior Open over field of 92 players by 5 strokes… April-August, 2015: Finished sixth of 54 players at AJGA at Seagate; finished first by 6 strokes over field of 66 at Don Miklus Memorial Junior Open; finished third over field of 72 with a final round of 66, the lowest in the field, at AJGA at Irish Creek… May, 2014: finished second over field of 48 in Liberty National Junior Invitational… July, 2013: finished first over field of 41 at World Series of Junior Golf.
