Huskies Earn Platform Golf Team Academic Award

STORRS, CT - The UConn men's golf team was recognized with a Platform Golf Team Academic Award by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA) announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Huskies were one of 75 teams who earned Presidents Special Recognition for posting a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Last week, five Huskies, Ray Dennehy (Princeton, Mass.), Connor Goode (Glastonbury, Conn.), Alex Heard (Boca Raton, Fla.), Vikram Konanki (Newton, Mass.), and Bradley Sawka (Ellington, Conn.) were named 2024-25 Cobalt All-American Scholars

A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a Platform Golf Team Academic Award. 129 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above.
