While at UConn: Played 129 games for the Huskies, the 16th most in history, starting 43, including all six during UConn’s NCAA Tournament championship run in 2014 and all three in UConn’s AAC Championship run in 2016... Scored 269 points (2.1 ppg), grabbed 256 rebounds (2.0), and shot .502 overall... Played a career-high 14.7 minutes per game in his junior season… Known for outstanding defensive positioning and footwork... Saw improvement in his scoring, rebounding and free throw percentage from his freshman to sophomore seasons.
As a Senior in 2015-16: Scored nine points and pulled down six rebounds in his debut against New Hampshire (Nov. 17)... Scored seven points and pulled down four rebounds in 16 minutes of the bench in the Huskies’ 81-78 win over Memphis on Jan. 9 at Gampel Pavilion... Earned the start on Senior Day and scored a pair of points in 18 minutes (March 6)... Pulled down a pair of rebounds and dished out two assists in the Huskies’ win over Colorado in the NCAA First Round (March 17).
As a Junior in 2014-15: Saw time in 34 of Connecticut’s 35 games, averaging 1.5 points and 1.9 rebounds a contest... Made his first start of the season against Tulane (2/22) and totaled 10 starts on the year... Led team with 21 charges drawn... Recorded a career-high three steals against USF (1/25) after entering the game with zero steals on the year...Tallied a career-best three blocks against Memphis (3/5)... Matched a career high with seven rebounds in the American Athletic Conference Championship First Round against USF (3/12)… Finished second on the team with 14 blocks.
As a Sophomore in 2013-14: Appeared in all of UConn’s 40 games, starting 19 and all six of UConn’s NCAA Tournament games, averaging a career-best 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest... Averaged 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in the NCAA Tournament... Grabbed four rebounds in UConn’s Elite Eight victory over Michigan State (3/30)... Recorded double-digit points totals in three games... Scored a career-high 11 points and made a career-best five field goals against Eastern Washington (12/28)... Shot a career-best 77.5 percent from the free throw line...
