2019 Season: Was the Huskies Friday and Saturday starter during his senior season. Went 5-4 in 16 starts and 19 appearances. Led the team with 84.2 innings. Recorded a 4.78 ERA. Threw six innings and allowed one unearned run against No. 4 Louisville (2/15). Earned back-to-back victories against Charleston (2/22) and Northeastern (3/1). Logged 5.2 innings and struck out five in a win vs. Wichita State (5/4). Pitched 6.1-inning stint allowing one run and struck out five vs. USF (5/11). Threw 3.1 innings out of the pen against Houston (5/21) in The American Conference Championship.
2018 Summer: Appeared in seven games for the Healdsburg Prune Packers in the California Collegiate League… Accumulated 21.0 innings and posted a 3.86 ERA… Picked up 17 strikeouts and earned a pair of wins… Threw 3.0 shutout innings in a win vs. Solano (July 14)…Tossed 5.0 shutout frames vs. Academy Barons (June 28).
2018 Season: Made 20 appearances and 11 starts on the bump in first season at UConn…Recorded a 4-3 record with a 4.66 ERA…Logged 73.1 innings and notched 44 strikeouts…Versatile for the Huskies working as a reliever, midweek and weekend starter…First four appearances came out of the bullpen…First start came at No. 30 Coastal Carolina (March 13)…Recorded five innings, allowed one run and notched six strikeouts at CCSU (March 20)…Was outstanding at Boston College (March 27) going 8.2 scoreless innings and allowing just two hits to grab first career win…Notched victory vs. Tulane (April 29) in rubber game with 6.2 inning performance that featured two earned runs and three strikeouts…Beat Memphis (May 5) on the road with a career-high eight strikeouts in 6.0 innings of work…Came out of the pen and snagged a win at Northeastern with a scoreless frame.
Prior to UConn: Pitched two seasons at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. in the Big 8 Conference, part of the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA)…Appeared in 26 career games and started 17…Went 10-8 with a 2.51 career ERA…Posted two saves, four complete games and registered 129.0 innings with 88 punch outs…His sophomore year ranked in the top-10 in the Big 8 in complete games (1st, 3), innings pitched (7th, 77.2), ERA (4th, 2.20) and saves (9th, 2).
High School: Lettered three seasons at Pinole Valley for head coach Curtis Sandeford…Second Team All-Conference with a 1.19 ERA after his senior season…Named Conference Pitcher of the Year after recording a 0.98 ERA and also hit .392 at the dish…Recognized to the All-Conference Second Team his sophomore year.
